Path to the Estuary

An easy route to the San José Estuary,
heading east, about a block from Cabobob's condo.
The marshy waters of the estuary
lie a few hundred feet ahead,
through the shady palms.
In contrast to the surrounding desert,
the moist alluvial soil of the estuary supports
dense tropical vegetation.
